Rantum Capital was founded in 2013 by entrepreneurs and long-time top managers with the aim of providing capital and networks to medium-sized entrepreneurs in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. From our office in Frankfurt a.M., we manage several debt and equity funds with a total volume of approximately € 1 billion and are thus able to develop solutions for medium-sized companies across the entire liability side of the balance sheet. Our team consists of a young and dynamic investment team as well as a circle of former DAX board members and entrepreneurs with many years of experience in numerous industries.
We offer you the opportunity to gain extensive experience in the areas of private equity and private debt as an intern and to become part of our investment team for 3-6 months.
YOUR ROLE
As part of an internship at Rantum Capital, you will be involved in the following tasks:
- Analysis of markets and companies
- Supporting the team in due diligence processes
- Participation in the preparation of investment memoranda
- Financial analysis and modeling of target companies
- Involvement in the process steps for the preparation and execution of transactions
YOUR SKILLS
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong implementation orientation and entrepreneurial thinking
- High level of commitment, sense of responsibility and ability to work in a team
- Very good command of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
YOUR PROFILE
- Business studies at a leading university (at least in the 4th semester)
- Excellent academic and university performance
- First internships in the field of private equity, private debt, investment banking, leveraged finance or strategy consulting
- Previous experience in balance sheet, P&L and cash flow analysis, business valuation and modeling
- Business fluent in German and English
