Founded in 1865, Gebrüder Josef & Matthäus Ziegler GmbH (“Ziegler”) is a leading German brand and producer of high-end spirits as well as aperitif products. Traditionally well-known for its high-quality fruit brandies, the company’s product portfolio today also includes several contemporary premium brands in adjacent product categories such as whisky, gin and aperitifs.

Ziegler has a diverse and blue-chip customer base including leading retail groups in Germany (e.g., Metro, Edeka) as well as upscale gastronomy. Customers are addressed via various sales channels, especially grocery retail, cash-and-carry, and wholesale.

Ziegler maintains various strategic product partnerships with acclaimed companies and brands, among others the co-created “Ziegler Avionic”, the new official Lufthansa aperitif which is available on all flights and in the airline’s lounges.
