Rantum Capital completes financing for Gütersloh-based software company vitroconnect
Rantum Capital today completed the corporate financing for vitroconnect GmbH.
vitroconnect is the leading process and IT specialist for Open Access in the German telecommunications market. With the help of its network-independent and highly-scalable IT platform CAP (Carrier Aggregation Platform), providers and consumers of telecommunications broadband connections are brought together. More than one million end customers, more than one hundred resellers, and wholesale products from more than eighty suppliers are currently managed on the vitroconnect platform. Most of the alternative infrastructure providers for the expansion of fiber optic networks in Germany already rely on vitroconnect’s highly scalable CAP technology to open their networks to third parties.
Dr. Dirk Notheis, Managing Director of Rantum Capital, comments: “vitroconnect has a highly intelligent and unique business model and therefore enjoys a special market position. The technological leadership in a fundamentally attractive market and a dynamic entrepreneur with his team make the transaction a typical “Rantum case”. We are pleased to be able to be part of the company’s further success story as (financing) partner.”
The legal advisor to Rantum Capital in this transaction was the law firm Ashurst (Dr. Matthias Weissinger and Ariana Fazlic). Axcit (Jens Tschauder, Georg Jung) acted as financing advisor to vitroconnect.
