FELIX HUFELD

Felix Hufeld is Rantum’s Industrial Partner for (financial) services and fintechs. After almost 25 years of work experience as lawyer, consultant and CEO in the financial industry, he in 2013 became a public servant and led the insurance and pension plan supervision at the German financial sector regulator BaFin. In 2015 he was appointed Chairman of BaFin with ultimate responsibility for the supervision of all financial industry sectors in Germany. As a member of various boards and committees, inter alia as a member of the Supervisory Board of the European Central Bank, Felix Hufeld was involved in nearly all major developments and decisions of financial regulation in Europe. He remains involved with his long-term passion for music by being the Chairman of the Foundation of the German Federal Youth Orchestra.
